Our Story

Our family owned tree farm has been serving the local community since 1971. Gib and Sara Mae Sanford started growing trees by hand planting 1000 Colorado Blue Spruce seedlings. Through the years, with the help of several members of the Sanford family, other close relatives and friends, Sanford Tree Farm has grown to over 25 acres of machine planted trees in several evergreen varieties.

In 1986, Paul and Vivian Sanford became partners and developed the operations and sales of the farm to offer balled and burlap or “live” trees. Sanford Trees have been planted in a variety of landscapes in most all of the northeastern and mid Western areas of the United States.

Sanford Tree Farm LLC has always possessed the habit of treating its customers and employees with respect and honesty, a characteristic we will offer proudly for generations to come.
